Clio Manage
Legal Practice Management
Used by law firms nationwide16,000+ sources monitored dailyTrusted for probate & estate workflows
Most Clio users still manually search obituaries when they need to confirm whether a client died—search engines, funeral home sites, and ad hoc checks that do not scale. That workflow can be automated with this Clio integration → For context, see does Clio track client deaths?, Clio vs manual obituary search, and Clio probate automation workflow. Broader questions? How do lawyers verify death and what happens if a client dies during a case.
Who this integration is for
Built for teams that need defensible client death verification and probate case monitoring — not one-off Google searches.

When a death is detected, you can export the audit log in Clio-compatible format. The CSV includes matter_display_number, responsible_attorney, and notes fields that map directly to Clio imports.
Does this work with Clio Grow?
Our integration connects directly to Clio Manage via OAuth. Clio Grow contacts can be exported as CSV and imported via our bulk upload feature.
What happens to my matter_display_number when I export?
Export files include matter_display_number, responsible_attorney, practice_area, and notes so you can re-import into Clio or attach the audit to the same matter. No re-keying required.
