# Understanding Confidence Scores
The confidence score shows how likely a match is correct.

## Score Ranges

| Score | Level | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 90-100% | High | Likely correct, review quickly |
| 80-89% | Medium | Good match, verify carefully |
| 70-79% | Lower | Possible match, research needed |

## How Scores Are Calculated

Click any score to see breakdown:
- Name match points
- Location match points
- Bonus points (middle name, relatives)

## Improving Scores
Add more information to your watches:
- State: +10 points
- City: +10 points
- Middle name: +5 points
- Relatives: +10 points

## Notification Threshold
We only notify for 90%+ confidence to minimize false alerts.
Lower confidence matches are still logged but don't trigger notifications.
