Usage and quotas

Usage shows how many lookups your account has made and how much of your allowance is left. Your allowance and limits are set by your agreement.

1. Monthly lookups shows lookups used out of your monthly allowance, and how many remain (callout 1).
2. The tiles show Lookups this month, Today, Avg. time per lookup, and Extended lookups this month (callout 2).
3. The chart shows requests over time. Filter by period and by search depth (callout 3).

Good to know

• Usage counts lookups on the account that owns the key. If you test with someone else's key, those calls show on their account.
• Test keys don't use your allowance.
• Every response also carries X-Quota-* headers, so your code can track what's left.
• If you hit your limit, calls return quota_exceeded. Contact our team to change your allowance.
