A watch keeps checking a person for you. We re-verify active watches on a schedule and send a signed verify.watch.matched webhook to your URL when we find a match, so you don't have to keep polling.

Connect your key

  1. In the sidebar, select Watches.
  2. Paste an API key (callout 1). Watches use your API key, not your portal sign-in.
  3. Select Load watches to see your existing watches (callout 2).

Import watches from a CSV

  1. Under Import from CSV, check the columns (callout 3). Required: first_name, last_name. Optional: state, city, county, dob_year, death_date, client_ref, and webhook_url for each row.
  2. Enter a Default webhook URL (callout 4). It's used for any row without its own webhook_url. It must start with https.
  3. Select Download template for a blank file, or Load sample to see an example (callout 5).
  4. Select Choose CSV file and upload your file.

Add one watch

Further down the page you can add a single watch with the same fields.

By API

  • POST /api/v1/watches creates a watch. GET /api/v1/watches lists them.
  • GET /api/v1/watches/{id} reads one, and DELETE /api/v1/watches/{id} cancels it.
