In select states, Daily County Intelligence also checks available property records and matches property to the person who died. Property matching depends on the public property data available in each state, so it isn't offered everywhere. Ask us which states are covered.

Where you'll see it

  • Estate Opportunities: the Property found and Property + family filters, and pills such as Property research pending on each card.
  • Family Explorer: the Property opportunity panel on each record, and the Property found and No property yet chips.
  • API: add include_property=true to your pull to get property fields. See Connect by API.

What the statuses mean

StatusMeaning
Property research pendingWe're still checking property records for this notice
Property foundWe matched property to the person who died
Property not identified yetWe haven't found a match. This can change

Good to know

  • A property match is a lead. Confirm ownership in the county's own records before you act.
  • If your state doesn't have property matching, you still get every notice and the related family members.
